Sho Kawano is a Quantitative Analyst at Intersect Power, supporting the firm’s power marketing and development efforts. He primarily focuses on analyzing large time-series datasets, photovoltaic cell performance modeling, and uncertainty analysis.
Prior to joining the team, Sho was an origination and development intern at SunPower, where he researched the community choice aggregation market in California. Earlier, he worked at WattTime (now part of the Rocky Mountain Institute), helping to push their technology to market, and initiating two major partnerships that allowed the organization to receive $600,000 in funding for joint pilot projects.
Sho holds a BA in Statistics from the University of California, Berkeley.
