Ashley Ciccarelli is the Head of Origination & Power Marketing at Intersect Power, leading a team focused on the origination of off-take structures, asset optimization, and basis management.
Ashley brings expertise in origination, trading, and the implementation of risk management strategies in both power and natural gas. Prior to joining Intersect Power, Ashley was an ERCOT Trader & Energy Marketer at Brookfield Renewable where she developed and led the energy and basis hedging strategy for a portfolio of ERCOT located wind.
Before joining Brookfield Renewable, Ashley spent three years in the Power Marketing team at TerraForm Power where she originated energy and REC off-take structures and hedges for a portfolio comprised of 2.4 GW of U.S located wind assets. In this role she worked on a REPA for a wind repowering in NYISO, re-contracted a bus-bar PPA for a Maine located wind asset, and executed numerous hedges to address ERCOT volumetric and basis risk.
Previously, Ashley spent three years at BNP Paribas on the Natural Gas Trading desk where she traded, scheduled, and optimized a natural gas storage and transport capacity portfolio. Prior to joining BNP Paribas, Ashley started her career at Morgan Stanley where she spent several years scheduling and trading power and natural gas in SERC, MISO and PJM.
Ashley holds at MPA in Energy & Sustainability from Columbia University, School of International & Public Affairs and a BBA from Iona College, Hagan School of Business.
