Dan Myers

Vice President, Project Finance

Dan is the Head of Project Finance, leading project finance and capital markets strategy and execution for Intersect’s growing portfolio of PV and PV+S assets.

He brings nearly a decade of experience structuring and closing complex non-recourse and recourse financings across the project and corporate capital stack, as well helping to structure nearly 4GWdc+2.5GWh BESS of PPAs/hedges across multiple ISOs.

Prior to joining Intersect Power, Dan was a Vice President of Project Finance and M&A at 8minute Solar Energy, one of the largest developers of utility-scale PV and PV+S projects in the US. While at 8minute, he led nearly $3bil of debt, tax equity, and project M&A transactions across ~2GWdc + 1.2GWh BESS of utility-scale projects in the US Southwest.

Prior to 8minute, he was a key team member of Monolith Materials, a startup backed by Warburg Pincus and Azimuth Capital Management commercializing a natural gas to carbon black and hydrogen technology. While at Monolith, Dan helped lead strategic finance and corporate development initiatives as the company scaled its production from pilot to full-scale operations. Dan started his career at SunEdison where he completed a finance leadership rotation program and spent time in the Global Capital Markets group.

Dan graduated with a BBA from St. Louis University and is a CFA Charterholder.
