Marisa leads land-use permitting and environmental policy matters for Intersect Power.
She has five years of experience working as part of development teams siting, permitting, and ensuring compliance for large-scale solar photovoltaic and energy-storage projects. Prior, she spent 10 years as a California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) consultant, serving public agencies in their roles reviewing and permitting solar, wind, and transmission projects.
Marisa recently served on the Avian Solar Working Group, and currently serves on the U.S. Department of the Interior’s Royalty Policy Committee.
Currently a student in the Executive MBA program at UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business, Marisa also holds an MA in Environmental Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and a BS in Environmental Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
