Martin is an experienced solar professional having spent over a decade in the energy industry. Martin has focused on both development-stage and operational solar facilities, leading technical due diligence efforts on over $7B of project financings and acquisitions, while also overseeing the acceptance testing, optimization, and operations for more than 3 GW of constructed facilities.
At Intersect Power, Martin is responsible for performance engineering, technical due diligence, and the operational aspects of our solar projects. Prior to joining Intersect Power, Martin was the Director of Fleet Performance and Repowering at Cypress Creek Renewables, where he was responsible for optimizing the performance of over 1.5 GW of solar facilities and maximizing over $150MM in annual revenue. From 2011-2017, Martin held various positions within the engineering group at Recurrent Energy with a focus on performance engineering, operations, and technical asset management. Prior to Recurrent, Martin was at Pacific Gas & Electric primarily focused on the maintenance and replacement of natural gas assets.
Martin holds a Professional Mechanical Engineering license in California, is a certified Project Management Professional, and received a BS in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo.
