Masashi Matsuhisa


Matsu (Masashi Matsuhisa) is a principal at Intersect Power. He focuses on financial planning and analysis.

Prior to joining Intersect Power, Matsu was Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at Recurrent Energy, one of North America’s largest solar project developers. He was responsible for management reporting, forecasting, budgeting and financial modeling and analysis at the project and corporate levels.

Previously, Matsu was a manager at Sharp Corporation, where he played a key role on consolidation accounting and led the creation of international group accounting policies based on IFRS. He was seconded to Recurrent Energy following Sharp’s acquisition of Recurrent Energy in 2010, and was responsible for financial and business reporting and communication between both parties. Following Sharp’s sale of Recurrent Energy in 2014, he stayed on as a member of the Recurrent finance team.

Matsu holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Tokyo in Japan.
