Michael Berger is a Principal at Intersect Power. He supports development efforts across the United States.
Prior to joining Intersect Power, Michael was a Senior Manager of Development and Engineering at Recurrent Energy, one of North America’s largest solar project developers. Michael worked in a variety of capacities across Recurrent Energy’s portfolio in the United States and Canada.
He brings project development expertise, with a focus on siting, interconnection, and system engineering, as well as late-stage experience financing, constructing, and commissioning utility-scale solar projects. In his six years at Recurrent Energy, Michael played a leading role in delivering over a gigawatt of utility-scale solar projects to commercial operation across the United States and Canada.
He started his career with a solar engineering firm, where he was responsible for developing system designs for residential and commercial installations.
Michael holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and BBA in Finance from the University of Cincinnati.
