Seth Israel is a Partner at Intersect Power. He heads the company’s site acquisition, permitting and land development activities.
Prior to joining Intersect Power, Seth was Vice President at Recurrent Energy, one of North America’s largest solar project developers. Seth led Recurrent Energy’s real estate acquisition, GIS, and permitting teams for nearly eight years, focusing on markets across the US, Canada, and Australia.
He brings significant land acquisition and development expertise across both early-stage and late-stage real-estate development activity. During his time at Recurrent Energy, Seth led the efforts to obtain site control and perform diligence on over 60,000 acres of land, as well as secure permits for projects that eventually generated over four gigawatts.
Prior to Recurrent Energy, Seth worked for an urban infill real-estate developer based in California, where he acquired and developed land in extremely challenging jurisdictions, building over 1,000 homes and 100,000 square feet of retail space.
Seth holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Virginia.
